Mark Thompson

Bio: Mark grew up on a small dairy farm in SE MN. After attending Rochester Community College for a year and a half he took 3 years off before enrolling at Minnesota State University in Mankato. Their he earned a degree in Biochemistry and carried out two research projects; one examining the interaction between an anticancer agent and DNA and the other studying the role of glutamine repeats in Huntington’s disease. Outside of science Mark enjoys spending time with his wife in outdoor pursuits and golfing when he gets the chance.

Favorites things about Tucson: Mark is in his first year and just starting his rotations.
