Requirements (& more on making your site.)
Each web project must be ADA compliant (See Making a
Web Site for more info) and must include the following sections:
- Main Page: The main page file should be titled "home##.html"
(e.g., if you are group 2, name the file home02.html, if group 8 then
home08.html). Naming of other files is up to you, but: NO SPACES
in file names. Also, only upload files used in the web page!
Your Main Page is the page the public will see first. If it doesn't
include the info listed under 'Home Page' below, then it MUST directly
link (and must ONLY link) to the Home Page. This option of having a
Main Page allows you to put an interesting picture in place, prior to
saying who you are.
- Home Page: State clearly this is a student project. Include
author's name, paper title, and the name of your faculty mentor. Note:
this doesn't have to be your front page, but your front page MUST link
directly to this, so people know who created the pages..
- Credits
- Who contributed what to the project? If a member of your group
did not contribute anything to the project, list that person as
a member of the group, but don't attribute anything (neg or pos)
to them.
- Outside contributors: Where did you get your graphics? You must
include information on any graphics you did not personally make,
the copyright statement they provided you, and a link to their web
site, if applicable. Generally this will go beside or underneath
the graphic. If it doesn't, there must be a clear, direct link to
a page with that information. You need to show that you have official
permission (i.e., that you are not violating copyright). For instance:
- courtesy of ...
- used with permission of ...
- Footer with group number, URL of your home page, date, and,
if you wish, email contact address.
References: Include a full citation of the paper you were assigned
and all other references used, including web sites (include relevant links).
Give copies of copyright permission to Willott (can be e-mailed).
