Announcements

Student Honors Website Welcome to Biology 181 Honors.

Your website will be peer-evaluated toward the end of the semester.
We now have the prototype for the evaluation form on-line at http://www.blc.arizona.edu/courses/181H/loggedIn

Check it out! This may help you in preparing your site.

Remember that the assignment has changed some from last year so read this year's instructions.

Also, this project normally gives back to you what you put into it, plus bonuses proportional to effort. Make the most of your opportunities.

Previous years' web projects can be found at: http://student.biology.arizona.edu/

To access 2007 web projects (Nothing much there yet, but you will build your site there!)

If you are interested in getting involved in research, and we hope you are, consider the Undergraduate Biology Research Program UBRP, McNair Achievement Program, or Minority Access to Research Careers MARC.

Also, consider the entry-level lab jobs that are sometimes posted on bulletin boards: many professors hire someone for washing dishes or caring for plants or animals, then promote (sometimes quickly) if the person shows promise.

If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, in work opportunities, or in scholarships and internships.
